Sarvagna Skill Development Centre
Sarvagna Skill Development Centre is an initiative of Sarvagna Health Care Institute (SHCI) for sustainable development and empowerment of the underprivileged in Sarvagna Nagar Constituency. Understanding the hardships of youth in the constituency, MLA Shri. KJ George decided to start another Skill Centre, which will provide skill training to the youth to help them secure skill oriented jobs in reputed companies to earn their livelihoods. Much awaited project has come up in Ambedkar Bhavan, Jeevanahalli.
Ground Level Reservoir
Ground level reservoir (GLR) with a capacity of 5 million litres (50 Lakh liters) has come up in HBR layout. This reservoir was constructed at a cost of Rs 11 crore, and will ease water woes in Govindapura, Nagawara, HBR Layout 3rd / 5th block and surrounding areas.
Hennur Lake Biodiversity Park
A Mini Forest in HBR Layout in Sarvagna Nagar Constituency; 34-acres of inaccessible forest land has been transformed to a serene Eco Park which was inaugurated by Former Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah along with MLA Shri. KJ George on 15th of July 2016.
The Biodiversity Park has more than 5000 trees. The 39 species include jacaranda, sandalwood, rosewood, ficus, mahogany and terminalia. In addition, it has over 6,000 medicinal plants. This includes Scaevola Taccada, Polygonum Chinensis, Costus Specious among others that have known benefits for fever, cough, indigestion and skin diseases. Walkers and joggers have a 2-km long path with two pergolas.
Byatagunte Palya Park, Kammanahalli
Hennur Kalyani
The Kalyani (tank) near Sri Madhava Anjaneya Temple located in Hennur has been revived by MLA Shri. KJ George using his personal funds. Following requests from local residents and heritage, MLA took the initiative to renovate the Kalyani. He wanted it to be a centre of musical and cultural activities.
HBR Multispeciality Hospital (Ongoing)
HBR Layout Ward will play host to a multi-specialty hospital with state-of-the-art technology, medical expertise, excellent nursing care and diagnostics. The hospital will meet every requisite needed to deliver modern healthcare solutions at feasible costs, ensuring high precision care is imparted to every patient that needs medical attention.
Jeevanahalli Sports Complex (Ongoing)
A World-class Football Stadium is coming soon at Jeevanahalli, in Sarvagna Nagar Constituency. Along with the Football Stadium, a Sports Complex is also coming up, which will be of2 floors; the Ground floor will constitute #Yoga Hall and a State-of-the-art #Gymnasium. The first floor will have 2 badminton courts. It will be designed and regularly updated to meet national and international sports offering state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor multi-sport facilities.
Housing Projects for Economically Weaker Sections (Dhobi Ghat / Gangmen Quarters / Slum Board Houses) (Ongoing):
Affordable and adequate housing is necessary towards ensuring a dignified life for human beings, and to ensure inclusive economic growth for the city and the state. For the same purpose, MLA Shri. KJ George along with co-ordination of government authorities are working with poor urban households and communities in order to enable sustainable implementation of the housing projects.
Lingarajapuram Govt First Grade College (Ongoing)
Sarvagna Nagar Constituency to soon get it’s first State-of-the-Art First Grade College at Lingarajapuram. The construction of this educational institution is being sponsored under the CSR funds of Embassy Golf Links Business park chaired by MLA Shri. KJ George.
Renovation of Schools and Anganwadis (Ongoing)
Recognising the need to provide a safe, clean and enabling environment for effective cognitive, emotional and social development of children, Shri. KJ George is on a mission to renovate & upgrade Govt Schools and Anganwadis in Sarvagna Nagar Constituency with State-Of-The-Art Infrastructure through the CSR funds of Embassy Golf Links Business Park chaired by himself. This will ensure underprivileged children get the access to best quality education for development of a progressive society. Anganwadi centres are on the lines of and on par with private creches. Other CSR initiatives include renovation of 14 schools, 37 anganwadis, setting up of E-Learning program across Government Schools in Sarvagnanagar.
